St. John's Youth Group meets at 6:45 p.m. every Wednesday in the High School Room upstairs. Through the hard work of its members, the Youth Group accomplishes many things, including:

• Preparing and participating in the services on Youth Service Sundays
• Planting a vegetable garden and donating its bounty to congregation members
• Helping other church groups by assisting in a number of ways, such as serving or clean up
• Making fleece blankets and pillows and baking goodies for sale at the annual Christmas Faire
• Making pet blankets for the animal shelter

In 2014, the Youth Group donated $550, the proceeds from their Christmas Bake Shop, to the Operating Fund of St. John's. The Youth Group also participates in neighborhood events, such as handing out candy from decorated cars at Halloween and providing activities for neighborhood kids at the celebration of St. John's 150th anniversary.
