Centering Prayer

Each Thursday at noon, a Centering Prayer group meets in the Parish Hall.

Centering prayer is a method of Christian meditation that focuses on being present to God in silence. It uses a sacred word to help the person praying return their attention to God when they begin to wander (as we all do!).

Centering Prayer is, for many Christians, the cornerstone of their spiritual practice, and we are delighted to have a group here at St. John's. It is facilitated by our own organist and choirmaster Curt Sather, a longtime Centering Prayer practitioner.

Please join us. You do not need to bring anything, and the session will last fewer than 60 minutes total. If you have questions, contact me at billhardwick79@gmail.com or the Church office, 360-352-8527.
