About Us

St. John’s Episcopal Church has been offering God’s love to the community since January 7, 1864.

As a community of faith, we believe that God works with us and through us to build a strong Christian foundation for our lives. Yet we recognize and accept that everyone is at a different place in a journey of faith.

As a congregation, we are committed to:

  • Helping all who come through our doors, newcomer or old-timer, grow and examine their own values, strengths and needs
  • Reaching out in compassion to the community

St. John’s is a member of the Diocese of Olympia, which includes all of Western Washington. We are served by the Rt. Rev. Gregory Rickel, Bishop Diocesan.

St. John's Mission

To love the Lord God, to love our neighbors as
ourselves and to live out our Baptismal Covenant so
that we build a community transformed by the love of
Jesus Christ.
