St. John | San Juan Don & Hope Duncan Concert Series
Concert series taking shape: First performance October 18
The first performances in the St. John | San Juan Episcopal Church’s Don and Hope Duncan 2026-27 concert series are set, kicking off another season of fantastic musicians – from guitarists to organists to choristers and more.
Here’s what’s scheduled so far. All performances begin on Sundays at 3:00 p.m. (except the Halloween Extravaganza) in the SJSJ sanctuary.
- October 18 brings Mischa Yolleck, a premier classical guitarist based in Seattle, and winner of the 2022 Northwest Guitar Competition. Check Mischa out here. TICKETS
- October 31 is the date for the annual Halloween Extravaganza, with spooky organ music starting at 6:00 p.m. and three short, silent films starting at 6:30 Steamboat Willie (1928), The Balloonatic (1923), produced by Buster Keaton, and the 1910 production of Frankenstein. TICKETS
- November 22 marks the return of Seattle Pro Musica and this year’s concert, The Year’s Midnight. Celebrate the winter solstice with soul-warming music from Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Featuring composers Reena Esmail (Winter Breviary), Morten Lauridsen, Sarah Quartel, Caroline Shaw, David Garcia Saldana, Tomás Pascual, David MacIntyre. TICKETS
Admission to the series is by donation (suggested $20, no one turned away).

SJSJ is located at 114 20th Ave. S.E., Olympia, and is on Intercity Transit bus route 13. An accessible entrance is located off the parking lot on 19th Avenue.
