St. John | San Juan Don & Hope Duncan Concert Series
2025-26 Season
A long-standing local tradition that welcomes all to relish the atmosphere and acoustics of St. John | San Juan Episcopal Church is back for another season.
The 2025-26 Concert Series continues the St. John | San Juan mission of building community by welcoming our neighbors to outstanding musical events.
Scheduled performances for the series are:
October 13, 2025, 7:30 p.m. The Yale University Whiffenpoofs will bring their mixture of jazz standards, pop music hits from across the decades, and old Yale tunes to a benefit supporting St. John | San Juan programs for immigrants. Suggested donation $25.
October 31, 2025, 6 p.m., Spook Spectacular. Halloween music on the St. John | San Juan pipe organ, followed by the silent movie Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the 1920 classic starring John Barrymore. Musical score compiled by Rodney Sauer, performed by the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra. Suggested donation $20.
November 23, 2025, 3 p.m. Seattle Pro Música. Known for its innovative and inspiring performances, it is one of the most popular in the SJSJ series. Suggested donation $20.
February 8, 2026, 3 p.m., Hymn festival co-sponsored by the Thurston County American Guild of Organists and St. John | San Juan. Suggested donation $20. Proceeds will support the Thurston County guild and the St. John | San Juan Music program.
May 17, 2026, 3 p.m., recital featuring Dr. Timothy Howard performing on St. John’s 65 rank Schlicker pipe organ. Howard is a noted organist, educator, conductor, improvisor, and arranger. Suggested donation $20.
