SUNDAYS
8:00 am Worship — A 45-minute service with Holy Eucharist, includes a focus on the inclusive language readings, prayer and sermon. Contemplative in nature. 10:30 am Worship — A full one hour plus service that includes Holy Eucharist, inclusive language readings, prayer, and sermon. This service is accompanied by the full choir and musical program to enhance the worship experience. It is a larger gathering of parishioners and is affirming and welcoming to all. This service is live streamed and can be viewed on YouTube later. Nursery Care and Godly Play available for children. 6:00 pm Hispanic Ministry — St John | San Juan has a 20-year history of Spanish services at 6:00 pm on Sundays. Nursery Care and Godly Play available for children. This ministry is supported by St John| San Juan and by the Diocese. Some non-Sunday services for special days are bilingual. 10:30 am Nursery Care and Godly Play — A Christian formation program for children at St. John | San Juan. It’s a Bible-based curriculum that uses play and imagination to support kids as they develop faith and spirituality. Godly Play is every Sunday beginning at 10:30 a.m. when participants process up the aisle at the beginning of worship, and then to a specially designed area just for them. WEDNESDAYS
7:00 am – All are welcome to join in these inclusive language liturgies, an excellent opportunity for spiritual connection with God and with other spiritual seekers in the middle of your week. Join in person or on Zoom.
*There will be no Morning Prayer or Holy Eucharist on Wednesday April 7.*
** The Morning Prayer liturgy will be used on the first and third Wednesdays of the month and will be online only.
** Holy Eucharist will be celebrated on the second and fourth Wednesdays online and in person in the SJSJ Chapel. On the second Wednesday of each month, the service will be followed by a potluck breakfast.

Sunday, March 29, 8 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. (Spanish) Palm Sunday, with distribution of palms, processional, reading of the Passion Gospel, and Eucharist.
Wednesday, April 1, 7 a.m. Morning Prayer on Zoom ONLY
Wednesday, April 1, noon. Women of the Passion: A Journey to the Cross, a non-traditional Stations-of-the-Cross reflection on the stories told by women who were transformed by their encounters with Jesus during his journey to the cross, suffering and death, and resurrection.
Thursday, April 2, 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service, commemorating the last supper, where Jesus instituted the Eucharist and washed his disciples’ feet to demonstrate humility and service. Foot-washing, Eucharist, and stripping of the altar. Maundy comes from the Latin mandatum (command), referring to Jesus’ commandment to love one another.
Friday, April 3, noon, Good Friday service focusing on Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross with prayers for mercy and forgiveness, peace, and divine assistance; an opportunity to burn our sins and to offer prayers before the holy Cross.
Friday, April 3, 7 p.m. Good Friday worship service, Faure’s Requiem, a choral work focused on rest in God and consolation, with the combined choirs of St. Mark and Gloria Dei Lutheran churches, and combined handbell choirs ringing Ah, Holy Jesus and Pie Jesu, St. Mark Lutheran Church, 2109 College St. S.E., Lacey.
Saturday, April 4, 10 a.m. Holy Saturday worship, contemplative service mourning Jesus’ death, and waiting in hopeful anticipation for the Resurrection.
Saturday, April 4, 7 p.m. Great Vigil of Easter, reflections on the transition from darkness to light and death to life through Scripture, song, renewal of Baptismal vows, and Eucharist.
Sunday, April 5, 8 and 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., Easter Sunday worship services with baptisms (10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.)., Holy Eucharist, special music, and, following the 8 a.m service, coffee hour, and following the 10:30 a.m. service, a fantastic brunch (sign-up sheet in the Parish Hall) and an egg hunt for kids and their adults.
